How We Started
Standard Insights came to life in 2018. It was born out of a frustration that a group of entrepreneurs couldn't shake. Everywhere they looked, businesses were sitting on goldmines of customer data but doing almost nothing with it. Most companies leaned on outdated reports and gut instinct. These founders kept asking the same question: what if AI could actually tell you what your customers are going to do next?
The real turning point came at the Outdoor Retail Show in Denver. One co-founder made the trip from Atlanta. He was armed with little more than an early prototype and a belief that smarter customer intelligence was possible. It was a bet on an idea, and it paid off. Two businesses saw enough promise to sign on as paying beta clients. That early vote of confidence changed everything. It wasn't just validation; it was proof that people were hungry for insights that actually moved the needle.
That moment in Denver quietly became the heartbeat of everything Standard Insights does. From day one, the mission has never really been about technology for its own sake. It's about helping real businesses make sense of the data they already have. It means understanding their customers more deeply, holding onto them longer, and building relationships that actually mean something. The tools are powerful. Jerry Abiog
Jerry Abiog is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Standard Insights. A recognized voice in AI, data analytics, and growth marketing, Jerry brings decades of experience helping SaaS companies drive revenue through data-driven strategies. Prior to Standard Insights, he ran a marketing consultancy serving SaaS organizations across the United States. Jerry speaks regularly at industry events and universities on the future of AI, machine learning, and their applications in retail, supply chain, and marketing. He is a published writer and contributor to leading publications, including The Business Journals and the Marketing AI Institute.

Alad Manoj Peter
Manoj Alad is a highly accomplished and results-driven technology professional with a strong foundation in cybersecurity, software development, and advanced computing systems. He holds multiple industry-recognized certifications, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council and is a trained Red Hat Linux Professional. His core competencies include Java programming, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), where he applies analytical thinking to design intelligent, scalable solutions. He is also highly proficient in Linux systems, network architecture, and network security.

Cathy McCorquodale
Cathy has an MBA from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was born in Zimbabwe, and currently splits her time between Vancouver, Canada and Tampa, FL. Her experience spans five different continents including managing teams and delivering technical solutions in: Canada, India, South Africa, U.K., France, Australia, Japan, China, and the United States.
