Our Origin Story
It all started in the mid-2010s through a serendipitous meeting of business people who were passionate about using AI to solve business problems. Soon after creating a prototype, one of the co-founders flew from Atlanta to the Outdoor Retail Show in Denver and secured two beta clients upon returning. That trip validated our ideas, and the potential AI could have in helping companies leverage their first-party data to improve revenue and operational efficiencies.
Our goal is to help current and future clients on the importance of becoming data-driven to help them know their customers better than they know themselves through a mix of technology and managed services offerings, enabling them to succeed in highly competitive business environments.
Meet Our Executives
CEO and Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding Standard Insights, Jerry had a consultancy that helped SaaS companies with sales and marketing initiatives. Some of his clients had successful exits.
Outside of work, Jerry is a fitness enthusiast. He participates in jiu-jitsu, boxing, running, swimming, and various other exercise activities that his ‘old-man’ body can handle. Also, he likes spending time with his better half and their 3 dogs.
Alad Manoj Peter
CTO and Co-Founder
Manoj Alad is an accomplished professional with multiple certifications under his belt, including being a certified Ethical Hacker by the EC Council and a trained Redhat Linux Professional.
His expertise spans across various fields such as Java programming, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Linux Systems, Networks & Network Security.
COO and Managing Partner
Cathy has an MBA from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
She was born in Zimbabwe, and currently splits her time between Vancouver, Canada and Tampa,FL. Her experience spans five different continents including managing teams and delivering technical solutions in: Canada, India, South Africa, U.K., France, Australia, Japan, China, and the United States.
